报告人：Dr. Yaqoob Majeed
Associate Editor,Computers and Electronics in Agriculture（IF：8.3）
Dr. Yaqoob Majeed is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Engineering, Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics and Control Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. He holds a Ph.D. in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from Washington State University (WSU), USA. His research interests are to develop robotics and automation solutions for agricultural field operations and food processing. Currently, he is also serving as Associate Editor of the prestigious international journal “Computers and Electronics in Agriculture” and Guest Editor of various international journals (i.e., Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, Frontiers in Plant Science, Agronomy, Advances in Mechanical Engineering) and as a reviewer in various international high impact factor journals (i.e., IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, Transactions of the ASABE, Precision Agriculture, etc.). So far, he has published more than 30 international journal articles and 2 Book Chapters. He has won several international research awards including “Top-Cited Article” from the Journal of Field Robotics-Wiley, “2022 Outstanding Reviewer Award” from ASABE (American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers), “Certificate of Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing” from the Journal of “Computers and Electronics in Agriculture”, and “Outstanding Graduate Student Award” from WSU.
